George County child found dead

Early this morning, a child was reported missing to the George County Sheriff’s Office.
The child was reported missing around the 16 thousand block of Highway 26 west. During a search of the surrounding area, the child was found dead.
No foul play is suspected at this time. However, the incident remains under investigation.
