George County beats East Central twice to advance to 5A State Championship series

Last night, George County and East Central softball were tied at 6-6 in the eighth inning in game one of the 5A South State finals when the rain showed up.

Lady Rebels and Lady Hornets pick it back up this afternoon.

George County wins game one 7-6. George County also wins game two 7-2. Lady Rebels heading to Hattiesburg next week for the 5A state championship.
