George County alum Marquez Dortch entering transfer portal
On the gridiron, George County alum Marquez Dortch announced his decision to hit the transfer portal and leave Mississippi State.
The former four-star recruit originally signed with the Bulldogs in December 2021, but was also previously committed to Ole Miss.
Dortch still has all four years of eligibility remaining, logging just one catch for one yard in one game in 2022.
As a high school senior, the former Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game selection led George County in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, accounting for over 1,000 all-purpose yards and nine all-purpose touchdowns.
