GenSea Blue Economy interns present projects at USM Gulf Park Campus

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- It was an exciting evening over at USM’s Gulf Park Campus on Thursday night for students within the GenSea Blue Economy Pathways Summer internship experience.

These 28 high school interns have spent the past few weeks working with GenSea partners in blue economy worksites, where they’ve had experiences in marine science, coastal restoration, and many other fields.

They wrapped up their internships with an academic poster session, presenting everything they learned to family members, colleagues, and industry leaders.
