Gautier WR A.J. Phillips decommits from Alcorn State

Over at Gautier High School, rising senior wide receiver A.J. Phillips decomitting from Alcorn State today, having announced his decision over Twitter.

Phillips says the Braves will still be at the top of his list, but he wants to take the time to make sure he’s making the right decision for both him and his family.

Since his original commitment back in March, Phillips has picked up other division I offers from Southeastern Louisiana and Nicholls State to go along with five JUCO.

Last season, Phillips was fifth in the state in receiving with more than 1,200 yards and tied for fourth in the state with teammate Aydan Morgan with 76 receptions to go along with 12 total touchdowns.
