Gautier stakeholders meeting

The City of Gautier kicked off its new series of stakeholder meetings. This new program is spearheaded by city manager Samantha Bell and is designed to share how the city has progressed in its 29 year history and in the ten years since Hurricane Katrina.
City leaders hope the meetings will dispel any misconceptions about Gautier. The housing market in Gautier is pretty strong, with one of the lowest foreclosure rates on the coast. Gautier also has a nationally ranked school district.
“I think people walked away knowing that our citizens on average are better educated, highly employable and that we have land that is available and ready for development,” said city manager Samantha Bell.
The City manager’s stakeholder meetings all lead up to the state of the city address next Thursday. If you missed today’s meeting, the city plans on hosting four more this week.
