Gautier Police K9 receives new body armor

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gautier Police Department announced that K9 Lady has received a donation of body armor.

K9 lady received a bullet and stab protective vest.

This coming from the organization Vested Interest in K9s. The vest was sponsored by the Lincolnwood Training Club for German Sheperd Dogs of Chicago.

The program is open to all dogs at least 20 months old and actively employed by law enforcement or related agencies.
