Gautier PD searching for suspect in deadly Friday night shooting at alumni homecoming event

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- The Gautier Police Department is looking for a suspect in a deadly shooting on Friday night.

On Friday, September 19, The Gautier Police Department responded to a shooting that happened at a Gautier High School Alumni event.

Three people were injured during the incident. Two victims were transported to a local hospital by a Gautier Police Department vehicle. A third victim was transported by a Pascagoula-Gautier School District Police Department vehicle to a local hospital.

One of the victims, a 22-year-old from Gautier, died from injuries sustained in the shooting.

Gautier PD is actively pursuing leads and searching for a suspect. The investigation is active.
