Gautier Mayor Casey Vaughan wins re-election

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- One of the other races we’ve had our eyes on, the race for Gautier mayor.

This race is a rematch from four years ago. Incumbent Independent Mayor Casey Vaughan faced off against former Mayor Republican Phil Torjusen.

According to unofficial results, it appears Vaughan has secured a second term, winning nearly 70 percent of the vote.
