Gautier man faces sexual battery charge

A Gautier man is behind bars, charged with sexual battery.

Gautier Police Chief David Bever says 38-year-old Zavoktron Reddix was arrested after a traffic stop showed he was wanted on a warrant of sexual battery involving a minor.

Bever said the alleged incident happened in October and the minor was younger than 16.

Reddix is expected to go before a judge Monday for a bond hearing.
