Gautier Gators chomp to district victory with 28-6 win over Long Beach

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV) — Gautier improved to 3-3 on the season and started district play on the right foot with a 28-6 win over Long Beach in front of an energized home crowd.

The Gators jumped to an early 7-0 advantage and carried that lead into the halftime locker room. They never looked back from that lead, cruising to the big win.

Up next, Gautier will hit the road to Pearl River Central, and Long Beach will host Pascagoula. Both games kickoff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17th.
