Gautier city manager to leave post after ten years
GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)- Gautier’s city manager is leaving her role to pursue other opportunities after nearly a decade of running city operations.
Gautier city leaders announced Paula Yancey’s departure Wednesday afternoon.
Yancey has overseen many projects in her ten years with the city, including the development of the Sound Amphitheatre, improvements to city infrastructure, and the purchase of the Singing River Mall site.
Yancey says she will continue to watch Gautier thrive as she takes on a new chapter. Mayor Casey Vaughan in a statement says Yancey’s impact on the city will not be forgotten.
