Funeral arrangements announced for Judge Sheila Osgood

The family of Jackson County Judge Sheila Jackson Osgood has announced funeral arrangements.

Osgood’s loved ones came together for a vigil held Thursday night at the Riverfront Welcome Center where the arrangements were announced.

A private graveside service is set for Saturday at the Scranton Cemetery.

Those who wish to bring food for the repast can begin dropping off items at Pelican Landing starting after 9 Saturday morning.

The services will happen ten days after Osgood was found dead in her Moss Point home.

Police were called to her home for a disturbance which then led to the fatal shooting of her son, Gregory Jackson Jr. An investigation into her death is ongoing.
