Fundraiser for Ariana Farragut

Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School will be having a Trike-A-Thon fundraiser tomorrow morning benefiting one of their students who is fighting a rare form of brain cancer.
Ariana Farragut is a pre-k student and has been diagnosed of her cancer this December. Since then, she has been back and forth to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
The trike-a-thon will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the school and they are inviting the public to come donate to St. Jude’s childhood cancer research and for Ariana.
The students will be making paper hearts to sign for Ariana for one dollar each. Teacher assistant Mary Orman said, “Ariana is a very happy little girl who just absolutely loves life. She gives us so much joy and to do this is absolutely awesome to know that we can help her and her mom and dad for the many trips that they take to and from St. Jude. It’s very much appreciated for all the parents and the children who are helping her because they love her so much.”
The money received from buying paper hearts will go towards St. Jude to help Ariana and her family and other children at the hospital.
