Frosty Mug in Wiggins celebrates 64 years
The Frosty Mug in Downtown Wiggins celebrated in style for its 64th birthday.
Many came out for the restaurant’s first ever block party birthday celebration. Guests enjoyed lived music, a car show, and the restaurant’s famed dishes. Frosty Mug Owner Calie Golott said, “The Frosty Mug has been around for 64 years. Wiggins just means so much to us. That’s why we want to throw this big birthday celebration for the community.”
Former employee Mona Tubbs Franzen said, “I think it’s great for the generations to know. It’s not about going to Burger King or McDonald’s, come where the home cooking is and know that somebody’s mom, somebody’s grandma passed down those techniques to have that delicious burger.”
Fan favorites at the Frosty Mug are its chicken bacon ranch bowl, lot-o-burger, and shakes.
