Frosty Kroc Run will take place on Saturday

The Kroc Center will host their annual Frosty Kroc Run on Saturday.

There will be races for all levels and ages including a one-mile fun run, 5K, and 10K. The race will start and end at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino.

The one-mile and 5K will turn around on the bridge, back to the Golden Nugget, while the 10K continues onto Ocean Springs Front Beach Drive along the Coast then turn around at Washington Avenue then back over the bridge to the finish line.

Kroc Center Athletic Director Ramon Santiago said, “A fundraiser to help youth from around the community be able to afford the opportunities and programs we have here at the Salvation Army Kroc Center. So, this helps for our scholarship funds and all funds from this goes to help those families. We have helped over 1,000 families so far.”

Registration online ends Friday at noon, but participants can register at the run between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. The fun run will start at 8:30 a.m.
