Today was one of the last "normal" days before the dangerous heat gets here this weekend. Temperatures will creep into the mid 90s tomorrow with a light west wind before dropping near 80 for your nighttime low. Sunday, an upper level high brings air temperatures as high as 97 along the coastline and above 100 in some inland areas. Heat indices will approach, if not pass, heat advisory levels so be sure to limit outdoor exposure, wear protective clothing, hydrate, and take extra care of outdoor pets. Temperatures will begin to return to normal around Tuesday as a low pressure trof will begin to move in, replacing the upper level high and allowing rain chances to return.
