‘Frets for Pets’ three-day festival in Ocean Springs
Get ready to enjoy live music, food, and fun at the annual Frets for Pets Festival in Ocean Springs.
Frets for Pets is a festival to help raise money for animal shelters while showcasing local music, arts, and businesses. The festival will include an array of music from hip hop, rock, metal, punk, and EDM.
Festival goers will also have the chance to win a guitar signed by Queensryche donated by Hard Rock Casino and Hotel and a collectible Pokémon foil set donated by Fat Cat Collectibles. Frets for Pets Vice President Mark Simmons said, “It can be hard. We know there are a lot of older animals in the adoption center right now and they don’t go as fast as the puppies. Sometimes they never go. So, we like to raise awareness for what animals need to be adopted more, what animals need certain care, and what the adoption centers need such as blankets, toys, food, or that kind of thing.”
The festival will kicked Friday at 4 p.m. at the Juke Joint in Ocean Springs. Admission is $10 per day.
