Free youth skate clinic Saturday in Biloxi

Barring any weather, a youth skate clinic is taking place in Biloxi Saturday.

The Gulf Coast Skateparks Association is putting on the free event starting at 1 at the Biloxi DIY Skatepark on Hopkins Boulevard.

Volunteers will be on site to answer questions and offer help.

It is geared towards kids 15 and younger, but all skill levels are welcome to come out.

Helmets are required, but pads are encouraged. A parent must also be present for the kid.

In the event of rain, the clinic will be rescheduled to a later date.
