Free pet vaccine clinic at Long Beach Senior Center Saturday

If your furry friends are not vaccinated, bring them to the Long Beach Senior Center this Saturday.

For Pet’s Sake Rescue is partnering with Petco Love to provide pet owners free vaccines for their pets.

Vaccines are HCP for cats and the DAPPV for dogs, which are part of their yearly booster shots. All participants need to have their cats in a carrier and dogs on leashes.

The vaccine clinic runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. For Pet’s Sake Rescue President Vanessa Cruz said, “We will have over 600 of them ready. We got some information from other organizations that have done them nationally and that’s a pretty good number, but we do have the ability to order more and host another in March if we need to.”

Pet’s Sake Rescue is a nonprofit in Long Beach that specializes in fostering rescue animals. They encourage all pet owners to fix and vaccinate their pets as it can help control disease and animal population in the community.
