Free Fuel Giveaway

This morning, 100 lucky people were able to get some free gas for their cars in D’Iberville.

Each person also received a tote filled with SE Grocers groceries and a free Winn-Dixie gift card. Winn-Dixie offered the free fuel and groceries in celebration of the SE Grocers rewards loyalty program. The program allows customers to earn points during checkout at any Winn-Dixie grocery store that can then be redeemed for savings on groceries or savings on fuel at participating Shell or other select fuel stations.

This event took place at the Shell station in D’Iberville on D’Iberville Boulevard. Winn-Dixie Regional Vice President Trey Edwards said, “Our customers are very clear. They wanted us to get back in the gas business. We have always had a great partnership with Shell so we have re-launched that partnership. So, really, it’s just an opportunity to give back to our customers what they have been asking for. We got a lot of happy customers out here. $40 worth of gas can go a long way so we are pretty excited to give back to the community.”
