Free Back to School Haircuts
The Gulfport Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated helps young males in the community with their “first day of school” look.
The first 50 people to show up to Cut Doctor’s Barbershop on Monday, August 10th, will receive a free haircut. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible.
During the wait time, Kappa Alpha Psi alumni members will speak to students about the importance of receiving a good education and making positive life decisions.
President Dennis Stevenson said, “Our fraternity saw a need that a lot of young boys are going back to school and they are not properly prepared physically. And we know that the way you feel physically dictates how things will go. So, we want them to have a fresh start, a fresh look and hopefully a fresh attitude.”
Cut Doctor’s Barbershop is located in Gulfport on the corner of 28th Street and 13th Avenue.
