Free admission for veterans at Aviation Heritage Museum this weekend

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum continues to grow. This weekend, the museum is honoring veterans in recognition of National Vietnam War Veterans Day.

All U.S military veterans will receive free admission to the museum this Saturday and Sunday in recognition of the day.

It comes as the museum continues to expand its exhibits, including a new exhibit on the Vietnam War, and how Mississippi aviators played a role in the conflict, among other projects.

The museum is open this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 12:30 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
