Free admission at the MS Aquarium for dads on Father’s Day

GULFPORT, Miss. – Mississippi Aquarium is celebrating Father’s Day with complimentary admission for all fathers on Sunday, June 18 when accompanied by just one paid friend or family member.

Spouses, significant others and children are encouraged to bring dad to the Aquarium for a day of family fun that everyone will enjoy.

“We are continuing our efforts to make a day at the Aquarium affordable for more families with this buy one, get one free event,” said Patrick Pearson, vice president of sales and marketing. “We had such a great response on Mother’s Day we wanted to bring it back for Father’s Day.”

In addition to free admission for dads, the Aquarium is creating a pop-up beer garden inside the park. The beer garden will feature a sampling of craft selections on tap for a suggested donation, provided by the generous support of F.E.B. Distributing, Chandeleur Island Brewing Company and Lost Spring Brewing. Complementing the craft beers on tap, Pelican Pointe Café will have a delicious pork special, pretzels, and full-sized portions of the craft beer samples available for purchase.
