Fourth suspect sentenced in Tena Broadus

A fourth suspect involved with the murder of Tena Broadus has been sentenced to 12 years for accessory after the fact.

Thirty-three year-old Aaron Bobinger was indicted by the grand jury for accessory after the fact to murder and was the first co-defendant to enter a guilty plea in the case in August 2017.

According to the DA, after his plea, Bobinger agreed to cooperate with the state of Mississippi and testify at the trial of Joshua Peterman. Bobinger pled guilty without a recommendation from the state of Mississippi and asked Judge Christopher Schmidt for leniency at sentencing based on his cooperation throughout the investigation and trial of Peterman.

Broadus’ remains were discovered in October of the same year and were found in a wooded area near O’Neal Road and appeared to have been burned.

Co-defendant Devin Gregory will be sentenced Thursday, August 9th.
