Fourth suspect in Latimer shooting arrested

With the help of a tip to Crime Stoppers, Jackson County sheriff’s investigators arrested the fourth suspect in a November, 2023 shooting.

43-year-old Tanisha Chiasson is charged with accessory after the fact in the shooting that occurred in the Latimer community. Investigators arrested her Monday night, January 1, at a home in Vancleave.

Sheriff John Ledbetter says charges are pending against the homeowner.

Three other people are charged in the shooting. Two with shooting into a motor vehicle and another is charged with accessory after the fact.

Tanisha Chiasson is jailed on a $150,000 bond.  No arrest yet of the owner of the house where investigators found her Monday night.
