Fourth of July Fireworks in Gulfport

With Gulfport being one of the biggest cities in Mississippi, it’s only right that its fireworks show is just as big.
Lawn chairs of all sizes lined Highway 90 for the annual Fourth of July fireworks show at Jones Park. The area between Highway 49 and 15th Street, south of Highway 90, served as a firework free zone.
Police tell News 25 blocking off that area allowed families to enjoy the city sponsored show safely.
Gulfport resident Emma Favre said, “My favorite part is coming down here with my mom, spending time riding our bikes and just having a good time.”
Plenty of people decided to stay after the show and enjoy all of the Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo festivities.
