Fourth of July celebrations

Fourth of July celebrations started early this morning for many people and will continue as the sun goes down and the fireworks light up the sky.
The beach in Biloxi was already filled with people this afternoon escaping the heat in the ocean. Biloxi resident Scotty Gamble told News 25 that the beach is the sweet spot to be when the sun goes down as well. “Tonight is going to be great. I mean, from Jones Park all the way down to the casinos there will be people sitting up here and every parking spot will be full and they will all be shooting off fireworks and you will be able to see them from Gulfport to Biloxi. Had a guy last year who spent $12,000 on fireworks just to shoot them right off here at the beach.”
Gamble says that you can watch the firework shows or set off your own as long as you clean up after yourself.
