Fourth of July celebration in Ocean Springs

If you want to get a head start on your Independence Day celebration, Ocean Springs is the place to be!

The city’s annual fireworks display takes place tonight at 8:45. Fireworks will be launched from a barge in the water near Fort Maurepas on Front Beach.

Because of the celebration, traffic will be tight. Certain streets will be closed from 5 to 10 p.m. today so make sure you get your spot early.
