Fourth arrest made in connection to the deadly shooting of MJ Daniels Jr.

A fourth individual has been arrested in connection to the deadly shooting of 21-year-old Marcus “MJ” Daniels, Jr.

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Hattiesburg Police arrested Nytavion Shaw, 16, of Laurel, and charged him as an adult with one count of capital murder and one count of attempted armed carjacking.

He has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
