Fourth annual Gumbo Fest kicks off in Gulfport Saturday
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Downtown Gulfport will be turning into all things Gumbo on Saturday.
The fourth annual Gumbo Fest kicks off beginning at 10 a.m. and features live music, vendors, and the ultimate gumbo showdown.
The ‘Stir the Roux’ Cookoff will be happening as Coast residents compete for cash prizes.
The public gets to take part, tasting all the gumbo. Mayors from across the Coast will also face off for the Mayors Cup.
This year has a new location at the corner of 23rd Avenue and 14th Street.
