WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)-Wiggins Police say four stores in the city have recently sold tobacco and vape products to people under the age of 21, leading to charges for employees at those stores.

The stores include the Keith’s Superstore on Magnolia Drive, Keith’s Superstore on Central Avenue East, a Circle K, and a Magnolia One Stop.

Wiggins police conducted what they call a ‘compliance operation’ at eight stores last Thursday and found that the four stores listed did not follow the proper age verification process for selling tobacco and vape products.

There are no other details on the people charged in this case at this time, but Wiggins Police say they plan to conduct similar operations in the future.
