Four South Mississippi coaches named MHSAA/NFHS Coaches of the Year

Four South Mississippi coaches have received huge honors from the MHSAA and NFHS, being named coaches of the year statewide for their respective sports and teams.

D’Iberville High School’s Sanwaa Cooper has been named the MHSAA Bowling Coach of the Year after leading the team to a state championship.

Fellow state champion, Anna Grace Rigby of George County High School, has won the Softball Coach of the Year award.

Bay High Coach Colby Adams is the MHSAA Girls Soccer Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Tigers to their first-ever state title.

Lastly, Pascagoula High School’s Jessica Wilkinson is the Speech and Debate Coach of the Year. She helped her team achieve multiple state and national victories.
