Four Mardi Gras parades roll this weekend across the Coast

As we get closer and closer to Fat Tuesday, we have another weekend full of parade fun in South Mississippi.

Saturday, the Elks Club Parade rolls at 1 p.m., followed by Krewe Unique on the same route in Ocean Springs.

The Pass Christian Carnival Association also rolls Saturday at 1 p.m.

On Sunday, the Lizana Parade will make its way through that community, starting and ending at Lizana Elementary. It is the 20th anniversary of the Lizana Parade.

Due to bridge construction, the Lizana Parade will line up at Lizana Elementary then will leave the school, head down Cable Bridge Road to Northrop Cuevas Road and will disband at Jackie’s Grocery at the intersection of Northrop Cuevas and Highway 53.
