Fort Bayou Bridge stuck open

This morning around 9:30, there was an accident on the grate of Fort Bayou Bridge in Ocean Springs and the bridge was also stuck open.

Ocean Springs police closed the northbound lane heading over the bridge for about 45 minutes while they worked to clear the bridge and fix the issue.

Both lanes were reopened and traffic returned to normal around 10:45 a.m.
