Former Southern Miss and Ole Miss coaches help coach Georgia to CFP title

Former Southern Miss Head Football Coach Todd Monken is now the Georgia offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and now a national champion.

Former Ole Miss Head Football Coach Matt Luke is now Georgia associate head coach and offensive line coach and now a national champion.

The former Magnolia State duo helping lead the Bulldogs to their first national title since 1980 and doing so with quarterback Stetson Bennett who played for Jones College in Ellisville in 2018.

Bennett threw for 224 yards, a total he only surpassed once in 12 games for the Bobcats, to go along with two touchdowns and no picks.

Both end zone strikes coming in the final nine minutes of the fourth quarter, first to Adonai Mitchell from 40 yards out and then to Brock Bowers from 15 yards out to all but seal the game for UGA.
