Former Shucker Trent Grisham named CF Gold Glove finalist
Former Biloxi Shucker Trent Grisham really thrived in a new change of scenery with the San Diego Padres, having been named a Centerfield Gold Glove finalist.
Grisham joins Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves and Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers as one of three players up for the award.
The former first round pick of the Milwaukee Brewers was second amongst all center fielders with six defensive runs saved which puts him behind just eight other players in all of Major League Baseball.
On offense, Grisham hit for an average of .251 to go along with ten homers and ten stolen bases.
