Former Shucker/Mississippi State alum Brandon Woodruff throws daytime gem

Mississippi State alum Brandon Woodruff, also a former Biloxi Shucker, throwing a daytime gem this afternoon for the Milwaukee Brewers.

The former Bulldog had a no-hitter going through five-and-a-third innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates, giving up just one hit, two walks, and no runs with nine strikeouts across six innings in a 4-2 win.
