Former Red Rebel Bobby Bradley made MLB debut in 2019
Of all the high school baseball talent to come through the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Harrison Central alum Bobby Bradley has a legitimate case as one of the best to ever do it.
In 2019, the former Red Rebels slugger finally made his long-awaited Major League Baseball debut with the Cleveland Indians after hitting at least 23 home runs in all five of his full Minor League seasons.
Bradley was still on cloud nine during his annual Youth Baseball Camp on Saturday and says he plans to keep raking at spring training come February 15th. “That was like a dream. I still don’t think I woke up from that few weeks that I was up there, and I mean it was just something that I’ll never forget. The more I hit, I mean obviously the better. But I mean it’s really important, especially the first base power guy. I mean that’s pretty much like our detailed job is like drive guys in.”
Bradley says he’s still unlocking some of that untapped power in his bat and that it’ll be a lot more fun a couple years down the road.
