Former Ole Miss football player Luke Knox dies at 22

A former Ole Miss football player is dead.

Twenty-two-year-old Luke Knox died last night from undisclosed causes. Police say foul play is not suspected.

Knox, the younger brother of former Ole Miss and Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox, played four seasons at Ole Miss. He was preparing to play a fifth season at Florida International University.

The team’s practice was canceled today.
