Former Harrison County Utility Authority Director Asks for his Case to be Dismissed
Former Harrison County Utility Authority Director Kamran Pahlavan who is currently facing federal charges says he served as an FBI informant for the investigation into corruption at the agency.
He is now asking for his case to be dismissed. His attorney’s filed documents in district court saying it was Pahlavan’s cooperation that provided federal investigations with the information needed for the corruption cases against contractor Sean H. Anthony and former Harrison County Supervisor Kim Savant.
Pahlavan is accused of accepting bribes from Sean Anthony in exchange for awarding contracts to Anthony’s company.
A judge will hear Pahlavan’s arguments on July 2.
