Former Hancock Hawk standout Kaylan Ladner joins the softball staff at PRCC Athletics!

Again

Pearl River Community College softball head coach Jake Loper has announced the addition of Kaylan Ladner as the program’s new assistant softball coach.

Ladner will work primarily with the Wildcats’ pitching staff while assisting with all areas of the program.

A Kiln, Mississippi native, Ladner brings both playing and coaching experience to PRCC. She was a standout pitcher at Hancock High School before continuing her career at the collegiate level with the University of Southern Mississippi and Southeastern Louisiana.

Ladner joins the Wildcats after spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach with the Southeastern Louisiana softball program. During her time with the Lions, she helped guide the team to the 2025 Southland Conference Tournament championship. Following that successful season, the Southeastern Louisiana coaching staff was recognized as the NFCA Gulf Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

The move also creates a full-circle moment for Ladner, as she will now coach former Hancock teammate and fellow Hawk alum Teegan Dewitt, who is entering her sophomore season at Pearl River.

Congratulations to Kaylan Ladner on joining the Pearl River softball coaching staff.
