Former Gulfport linebacker signs with MGCCC

On National Signing Day, former Gulfport linebacker Karlos Dillard was all in as he made it official with the United States Air Force Academy. On Saturday, he announced he had signed with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Dillard tells News 25 that backing away from his national letter of intent was “the hardest decision” but in the end he was having second thoughts about joining the military.

Eventually, the former Admiral committed to East Mississippi Community College, but he says MGCCC was relentless and that the Bulldogs had a better plan for him athletically and academically.

Regarding the ups and downs of the past few months, Dillard says, “Change means God is working and I’m glad he is.”
