Former George County quarterback Deuce Knight reportedly transferring to Ole Miss
OXFORD, Miss. (WXXV) — Former George County five-star quarterback Deuce Knight has reportedly committed to join Pete Golding and the Ole Miss Rebels, just weeks after entering the NCAA transfer portal.
Knight spent his 2025 freshman season with Auburn, where he appeared in two games for the Tigers. He totaled 259 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while adding four rushing touchdowns.
The George County graduate is expected to play a big role in the Rebels’ quarterback room, as the future of starting signal-caller Trinidad Chambliss remains uncertain. The NCAA denied Chambliss’ waiver for another season of eligibility on Friday.
Knight could put pen to paper and make things official with Ole Miss in the coming days.
