Former Gautier Gator football star heading for the Canadian Football League

Deandre Torrey graduated from Gautier high school in 2017.

He then continued his career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. After spending time there, he finally got his shot at division 1 with the University of North Texas. After his college career ended, Torrey signed with the Vegas Vipers in the XFL.

With the recent announcement of the XFL and USFL merging, Torrey looked to continue his career elsewhere.

Recently, the former Gator signed to play with the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League.
