Former Biloxi Shucker Devin Williams fractures right hand

Big time blow to the Milwaukee Brewers bullpen with Devin Williams likely out for the remainder of the season including the playoffs.

The former Biloxi Shucker and Brewers set up man has a fractured right pitching hand, sustained from punching a wall following the team’s NL Central championship celebration.

Last year’s Rookie of the Year, Williams is 8-2 with a 2.50 ERA to go along with 87 strikeouts in 54 innings as an elite eighth inning option.

The Brewers are 70-4 when leading after seven innings this season.
