Former Biloxi high school baseball star Colt Keith signs MLB contract

The Detroit Tigers have signed Colt Keith, former Biloxi Indian, to a 6-year contract extension that runs through the 2029 season, followed by club options for the 2030, 2031, and 2032 seasons.

Keith was a part of the class of 2020 and drafter out of high school by the Detroit Tigers in the 5th round of the 2020 draft.

Keith will make north of $28.6 million over the next six years. If all club options are escalated and exercised, the contract would be worth $82 million over nine years.
