Former Bay High Principal pleads ‘no contest’ to shoplifting charge

Former Bay High Principal Amy Necaise pleaded no contest to one shoplifting charge today.

Necaise was sentenced to one year of non-reporting probation and ordered to undergo therapy for a year.

Necaise is also permanently banned from shopping at the Walmart in Waveland and has to pay $96 in restitution for the items she took that weren’t recovered.

By pleading no contest, she did not admit guilt but agreed there was enough evidence to convict her.

She was first arrested on a shoplifting charge in August this year.
