Forestry Commission pulls burn permits for three coastal counties
People are being urged not to burn right now because it is just too windy.
Harrison County Fire Rescue says the Mississippi Forestry Commission is pulling issued burn permits for the three coastal counties.
Officials say high winds over the next couple of days will cause higher risk of fires getting out of control.
There is no burn ban in effect at this time, but the fire service says they strongly discourage any burning due to those high winds and dry conditions.
