Football seasons call for busy times at the Scarlet Pearl

College football is back and at the Scarlet Pearl that means sports bets are coming hotter than ever.

The college football season is the busiest time for the casino, accounting for the most bets of any sport.

Betting kiosks will be open as well as counter bets for all odds, picks, and predictions.

NFL betting is just around the corner as well. Bets placed on NFL games tend to hold the largest value per bet at the casino.

College football and NFL football combine to make up over 75 percent of all bets at the time of their seasons. Scarlet Pearl Sports Book Manager Brad Carpenter said, “This is the busiest we’ve been well since last year’s football season. We had crowds in here this morning when we first walk in before we opened at 9 a.m. They were betting on our kiosks and just a great atmosphere, nice crowd today. We’re just so happy to have football back.”

The Scarlet Pearl expects even bigger crowds next Sunday during the Saints game in Jacksonville.
